Well, I've been having her staring at me every day from my Devwatch the past month or so, and what really strikes me is her face. It's a theatrical face, just like the great Edwardian actresses who used to tread the boards and were the superstars of their time. I do so love that about your work, the way you reference so many cool historical things.
I would love to know who this woman actually was, because she does look like a theatrical actress, or one of those melodramatic actress from the silent movie era...well, same thing I guess!
Yeah, and I LOVE purple too!
