wow really cool =D Is it done with textile paint? I wonder.... Does the paint allow the fabric to stretch when it's dry? (ow forgive me my bad english =S)
I was planning on painting some shirts too =P but I thought the paint would dry, and then would be stiff (is that the word ?)

i'm also surprised you got this dteail on FABRIC. what sort of paints are you using? and are you using a normal brush? anyways, it looks great. :-)

Hey Amy, well I'm just using normal fabric paints, and some old regular brushes. I do a white undercoat first, then build up on that base. The trick is to just keep the fabric taunt, it really isn't that hard to do. :)

huh. well, it looks impressive. i think i'll stick with my screen printing, though. :-) i don't trust myself doing something like that on fabric by hand.

Whoa! The detail and shading are terrific Nell. Very nice. I'm not into pink but it looks fantastic.

Ah, the colours. They're so lovely! I can't contain myself. Obviously, it wouldn't suit me (;)), but I still think it's lovely. Very vibrant and 'alive', if you know what I mean. Once again, your skills in this department astound me. Drawing on material must be really hard -- I kind of have a little experience in it, when I unsuccessfully ruined a t-shirt in Textiles class when I was younger! You on the other hand show confidence and assured elegance when tackling this somewhat tricky subject. I've just got to point out once again the lovely curves and flowing lines in this piece. All the curves and swirls and soft shapes in your work is always so pleasing. It's like the female-form, if you understand me, a work of art in itself. Perhaps the similarity is a little strange, but I hope you take my meaning positively. Wonderful!
