I like the idea of these shiny berries and the way they contrast with the rest of this picture- so soft, muffled and chilly. Even though this reserved lady with steely glance tends to be the main subject of your work, there's something I like much, much more- the subtle, glossy beads of dew stringed on(?) the cobweb. Congrats
Besides, it shows your great tenderness and intuition
Woot, more fairy artwork! And this one is especially attractive, what with the lovely blue and then those big ripe berries just glowing! What I love even more is the fact that your fairies are so unconventional, not like the traditional flower fairy kind of look at all. Call me crazy, but this one looks like she's from the sixties! It's just the 'Nell Mckellar' kind of look.
Anyways, I love the dimness of the leaves which seems to make it look like it's twilight, and how the glow of the berries and the fairy is the single source of light. Gorgeous. And the details on the dew! Just amazing. You have such insane dedication to your art and it shows in every piece you do. This is no exception. Keep it coming, gal!
Thank youuuuuu Ludi!
Yes! I wanted to give her crazy hair, I did want it to look kinda wacky-vintage. Thought it might give the piece a different touch. I thoroughly enjoyed doing an olde time-feel faerie painting, so expect more from me like this in the future!
Hope you been well.
