My dog has cancer

My beautiful, beloved 11yo fox terrier Jasper, has been diagnosed with cancer of the Lymphoma. He is at the vet's now getting an ultrasound.
I am absolutely devastated. Hopefully by the weekend he will have started chemo and I am going to contact a holistic vet so his immune system is as high as possible.

EDIT:
Just got Jasper back from the vet's. Luckily, the cancer hasn't spread to any organs. It's the best bad news I could have hoped for.
I do see some hope.

Im sorry to hear that. Dont worry, though. My cat had cancer a few years ago and she got through it :)

I'm so sorry to hear that Nell. Dogs are so special and truly dear to our hearts. We had a scare this past week with our 12yr Bassett Hound Lady Darby. Everyday is a blessing with her. My prayers go out to Nell...stay strong.

Thank you so much, James. Jasper is a best friend who has been with me since I was 14. I feel my life is so much the richer having him.
I've seen photos of your beautiful dog and she looks like a real sweetheart! I hope she is ok.
